These vintage late 1970's Charles Jourdan Paris shoes were made during the most important and popular time for the brand. Charles Jourdan himself died in 1976, but when his son Roland Jourdan took over as head designer, the brand became ultra successful. This shoe is a perfect example of how Roland changed the style of a classic pump by lengthening the toe and adding details, in this case ties, to make them unique. This is a sensational Valentino flapper inspired evening dress in shades of pink, blue and gold. This incredible dress is one of those pieces we get every now and then that takes our breath away! The dress almost looks like a top and skirt with its scalloped edged upper portion and cream skirt. This dress is completely covered with shimmering sequins embroidered in a floral design on a fine mesh fabric. The dress is beautifully lined is a luxe sand silk. The outer layer of the dress is a fine sheer champagne mesh fabric that is covered in beads, embroidery, faux pearls, paillettes and rhinestones. The dress has a pale neutral underslip that is separate from the outer layer. Both layers have back center zippers and hook and eyes for closure.
