This is a fabulous and rare desk cigar box-humidor created in France during the art deco period, circa 1918. The amazing piece is very decorative and designed in the stylized shape of the French WWI Saint-Charmond Tank. The cigar humidor has been crafted with geometric sharp lines in carved cedar wood and embellished with black and gray lacquers. It is fitted with a push lock and two hinges.

The Saint. Chamond was a French heavy tank, the second model used by the French Army in World War I. Its design was inadequate and was conceived primarily because of a commercial rivalry. The war ended before it was replaced by the British Mark series tanks. Born of the commercial rivalry existing with the makers of the Schneider CA1 tank, the Saint-Chamond was an underpowered and fundamentally inadequate design. Its principal weakness was its Holt caterpillar tracks. They were much too short in relation to the vehicle's length and weight (23 tons). A 19th century erotical secret box.
Extremely rare erotic sculpture from the 19th century, most probably created in France, circa 1870. This is a sculptural box depicting a woman sitting on a woven wood basket. The sculpture represents a small discrete treasure chest to keep jewels. It was masterfully crafted from pieces of cream and brown wood carvings and is fitted with a screwable part to reveal the interior. This is an outstanding object, unobtainable on the antique market and of high collecting.

This piece has been carefully crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with gilt interiors. It is decorated with applications on both sides of vivid red-orange lacquer. This beautiful box was made with cushioned edges and is fitted with an six barrel tension hinge, a push lock and a barrier to storage cards. It is in mint condition with no trace of use or wear and can be easily used as a luxury presentation cards-box.

This extraordinary and beautiful cased-box, was created in London England during the Art Deco period. Has a great provenance and was designed by the famous silversmiths and retail store of Finnigans Limited, back in the 1932. The thematic of this box is rare and very popular. Has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver standard with gilded interiors. The case has been made in a cushioned compact shape with eight barrels hinge and a push pressure thumb. The main panel on top is illustrated with a landscape scene and a Formula-1 racing red car, with the number L6, all realized with polychrome enamels. The reverse is embellished with engine turned guilloche decorations. This fine piece is masterfully worked with extreme details and is a very especial example for any collector, or a wonderful gift for someone special. It is in perfect preserved condition.

Louis Kuppenheim Company
The company was grounded in 1854 by Louis Kuppenheim (1824-1889) and Heinrich Witzenmann, specialized in silver and gold and enameled artefacts. On the World Exhibition in 1900 the firm received a gold medal for a letter opener. In that same year the company opened a branch in the Rue Richelieu 67 in Paris. In these years some designs by Hans Christiansen were executed, amongst them very delicately enameled silver cigarette cases. The enamels on the several silver and gold pieces was of very high standard, and sometimes even gems like rubies were applied. A beautiful colorful art deco box, created at the 33 East Kinney Street, in Newark New Jersey by the Wordley Allsopp & Bliss Company, back in the 1930. This rectangular box was carefully crafted in solid sterling silver .925/.999 with accents in 14 karats yellow gold. The complete outer parts are embellished with geometric patterns made up in green malachite and black lacquer. The inside are finished with high polish and gilding.
Weight: 82.95 Grams, (53.17 Dwt).
Measurements: 75 mm by 58 mm by 22 mm (2.95 x 2.28 x 0.87 Inches).
