About

This is a wonderful jacket from Yves Saint Laurent. Made of a beautiful pink cloth with an intricate woven-in pattern, the jacket's attention to detail is flawless. The charming vintage style sports a cropped high-hip hem with gusset insets for a slight peplum-like flare. These gussets are matched by square insets at the sides of the bust and the back, all of which are edged with a large blanket stitch. The center-front edges are turned back in double-breasted lapels, with a line of delicate buttons which extend up over the shoulders and are echoed on the wrists. Complex seaming and highly textured embellishment make this piece a work of art, and the cozy fabric and versatile styling make it easy to wear. With a perfectly updated vintage look, it is an elegant choice for a variety of occasions.
