About

Yves Saint Laurent and his inner circle of jet setting friends were legendary around the world. This is a personal note from Yves to one of those famous friends. He was vacationing at his home in Marrakesh when he wrote and embellished this note.
A Moroccan woman wearing the traditional djellaba is posed between two snakes, an image YSL used on clothing and jewelry. This hand drawn and hand written note by Yves Saint Laurent is very similar to the printed holiday greeting he sent out in 1977. Mailed to a friend the paper has very faint fold marks. It has been placed on artist board and then wrapped to protect the image. There is a hook on the back for hanging. Provenance
will be provide to the buyer.
