Beautiful 1950s blue and white Japanese Imari charger depicting a serene hand painted scene of a village by river side with boats, a bridge and islands on the background. The rim in the back has stylized floral decoration.
Beautifully hand painted and good quality. Condition firing flaw upper left and two grain size impurity flaws occurring during firing, also two small flakes on the edge (see pics).
Measurements: 16 1/4 inches diameter x 1 1/2 inches high.
