Large Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Panel of Geese Flying over the Moon Sky A large antique Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel over brass wall panel. The panel is enameled with a polychrome image of naturalistic ducks in a landscape with a half moon view on blue ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The border is decorated with polychrome floral, and foliage motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The backside is adorned with a swirl pattern on turquoise ground made using the same technique. Circa: late 19th century . Dimensions: 13 7/8 x 19 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos.
