Very rare Yuan/early Ming cast iron Buddha with integral mandorla- . Nearly exact example, with the same mudra. Illustrated in Sotheby's "Art of the Buddha", September 22, 2005-page 94. The piece itself measures 7 inches tall x 3 1/2 inches across x 2 1/2 deep. Note item 8960 on this website, an extremely close (near identical) example with a different mudra. There is likely a third very close example to the 'set' which has a different mudra than the other two. ).
