About the Item

A large highly decorated Dutch chimneypiece, Reclaimed from Devizes Castle, Wiltshire. The over-mantle with glazed crown and oval mirror.  Supported on a deep mantle with arched opening. Stylised lions bearing glazed shields decorating the jambs. This item will be delivered as several pieces, the largest being the over-mantle. Measures: Height (fireplace) 113.5 cm (mirror) 148 cm Total 261.5 cm Width 140 cm Depth 47 cm Opening height 63 cm Opening width 46 cm.
