The stained glass depicts a religious scene, thought to be Joseph being visited by one of the Lord’s angels in a dream. The angel told Joseph to not be afraid and take Mary home as his wife, because what was conceived in her was from the Holy Spirit. Handsome antique Victorian dresser of solid walnut and burl walnut with white marble top and black painted turned wood and brass teardrop pulls. It is in wonderful antique condition with an amazing antique patina. The candle shelves were broken and there was a small piece of molding missing on the lower left side of the mirror frame, but the shelves have been repaired beautifully and the molding carved and replaced by our experienced staff. There are other smalls signs of its long life and use including some staining on the antique white marble. We love its warm antique age patina. The mirror glass is clear but old. Please see photos, circa mid-late 19th century.
