By Johnson Brothers
Located in Wormelow, Herefordshire
An antique sink with a cast iron stand by Johnson Brothers (Bros) of Hanley Ltd. The antique blue marble effect basin sits upon a cast iron stand painted to simulate a walnut finish and ornately cast with a pair of striking dragons to the legs and a tall backsplash with floral transfer print tiles. This basin is further elevated by complete original fittings and beautiful cast iron stand made by BICLAM. The Simon Kirby Museum of Bathroom Sanitary Ware Sanitary ware extraordinaire and enthusiast Simon Kirby was the proud owner of a rare and impressive collection of Thomas Crapper toilets, basins and baths. Large 19th Century Ecclesiastical Stained Glass Window
Located in Wormelow, Herefordshire
A large antique late 19th century Ecclesiastical style stained glass window signed by Ward & Hughes, London, 1890. This window is of excellent artistry, with each tiny detail hand painted by a late 19th century artist. The stained glass depicts a religious scene, thought to be Joseph being visited by one of the Lord’s angels in a dream. The angel told Joseph to not be afraid and take Mary home as his wife, because what was conceived in her was from the Holy Spirit. The angel said they will call their son Jesus because he was to save his people from their sins. A piece of art showcasing such religious meaning, only deserves to be pride of place inside a home or property - perhaps even a new addition to a church or chapel. Ward & Hughes, London Ward & Hughes, based in Frith St, Soho, London, proved to be one of the most successful stained glass studios of its time, known for its distinctive style. It was initially a partnership between Thomas Ward and James Henry Nixon...

Set of 4 English Arts & Crafts Glazed Floral Tiles
By Lewis Foreman Day, Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian Pottery Company
Located in Wormelow, Herefordshire
Four 6-inch English arts and crafts era glazed floral tiles, circa 1900, attributed to Lewis Foreman Day for Pilkington’s Tile and Pottery Co. It is well-known that while not all Pilkington's tile were signed, initial designs were marked with a single letter 'P' to the reverse. From around 1900 onwards, this was later adapted to be a pair of letter 'P's, impressed on opposite sides of the tile with a 5 bar back. 19th century architect and decorative designer, Lewis Foreman Day (1845-1910), was artistic consultant for Pilkington’s as one of the leading designers of the arts and crafts movement. Several of his pottery works can be found in The British Museum and the V&A, including this tile of a similar design made for Pilkington’s at Clifton Junction dating to around 1900. Each decorated with a stylised red glazed flower among green leaves and vines on a rich dark blue backdrop, these four tiles together create a 62 cm square (24.5 inch) decorative panel, making a beautiful floral artwork piece for the walls of an interior. Alternatively, these antique English tiles...
