About the Item

A German white porcelain jewelry dish with whimsical design by designer Raymond Peynet for Rosenthal Studio-Line, Midcentury Modern period, circa mid-20th century, Germany. Dish shows two people, beautifully dressed, perhaps in a park, with the man exchanging a flower with the women. Women wears fun hat, small handbag, and umbrella in case of rain. Both surrounded by a gold sky clouds, grass and flowers. Designers signature on back along with makers' marks as shown in last image. A great piece for a desk or vanity area, etc. Piece could also make a great gift. Very good condition as shown. No chips noted. Dimensions: 4.44" Square. Italian burl wood jewelry box and green sphere shown available separately.
