About the Item
A sculpture that works with the wonderful vibrations that are meant to come to your home. Layer by layer. Totem I is a conversation piece to reflect at and elevate. In pure natural brass.
The totem pole is hand cast in brass with our signature finishes. It can be assembled easily as the pieces rest on a central pole.
TOTEM TO THE TOP
A sentinel of brass rising skyward, echoes the solemn majesty of ancient stones stacked by nature's hand. It stands tall, bridging the earthly and the divine, inviting contemplation of the human spirit's ascent towards infinity. Each layer a testament to time's passage, bearing the weight of stories untold. This is UNREALISM designed by Co-Founders' Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia for Scarlet Splendour.

Scarlet Splendour
Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia founded Scarlet Splendour in 2014. The siblings grew up in Kolkata, India with a deep sense of appreciation for the aesthetic. They combined their mutual passion for design to form Scarlet Splendour, with a view to integrate their maximalist sensibilities and become, possibly, the first design editors in India. They set out to create trailblazing furniture, lighting, and rugs on the borders of classical and modern, whimsical and serious, and functional and dramatic. Scarlet Splendour has collaborated with international stores, press agencies, artists, and designers to transform and take local craftsmanship to global levels. The company heralds a blend of the cultures and transcends geographical boundaries to achieve the extraordinary in the design world. The brand has collaborated with internationally acclaimed designers including Matteo Cibic, Elena Salmistraro, Marcantonio, Nika Zupanc and Richard Hutten, often merging European and Indian traditions.
Most recently, Scarlet Splendour collaborated with prominent designers Karim Rashid, Sacha Walckhoff and Richard Yasmine among others to showcase collections that have now been coined “Functional Art.” Scarlet Splendour combines its exquisite artistry with immaculate design to evoke decadence and timelessness.

Mexican Handmade Ceramic Skull Sculpture Collection Made in Limited Editions
By Omar Hernández
Located in Queretaro, Queretaro
"As a Mexican and Oaxacan, but more as Omar, I see death as something present. It´s something that is a part of life and when you think about death, you begin to value a lot of things. Death is important to me because it’s a constant threat. If you think about dying now, you would probably do things that in another moment you would say, “I’ll do it later.” I see death as an opportunity to live a better life...a continuation of something," says Mexican ceramist Omar Hernández.
Omar Hernandez is a Mexican ceramist born and raised in Oaxaca, Mexico. As a child, growing up in a family of potters he didn't have much interest in making pottery, but in his early 20's he realized he could do other things with clay that weren't necessarily utilitarian pieces. It was then that Omar started his skull...
