A striking and high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Bronze and Ormolu bust of Pericles. This handsome bust is raised on a square Ormolu base below the tapered socle pedestal. Pericles is dressed in his celebratory armor with a draped cloak over his shoulder. Pericles is showcased with his Bronze helmet adorned with two Gilt rams heads and sphinx.
