About the Item

This elegant crystal vase was designed by Arik Levy (b. 1963), multitalented Israeli born artist/set designer with a background in Industrial Design. Levy designed this piece for French fine crystal manufacturer Baccarat as part of his Intangible collection, introduced in 2007. This vase is titled horizon and has a cylindrical form featuring a series of horizontal accents. The underside of the vase bears the Arik Levy signature along with the acid etched Baccarat signature and company logo. The piece is nicely sized for a countertop, table or desk and weighs in at 15oz. A striking example of fine French crystal.

This 13.75" tall hand blown art glass vase was made by Lundberg Studios of California. The large vase has an elegant flared form and has been finished in Lundberg's deep iridescent gold Doré finish, heavily influenced by the techniques used in L.C. Tiffany's Favrile Gold Lustre and Steuben's Gold Aurene decorative glass. The highly reflective iridescent finish has hints of red which add depth to the mottled gold color of the piece.
