About the Item

This large vintage centerpiece was made by the well known Herend factory of Hungry and dates to April of 1993 and done in their highly decorative Rothschild Bird pattern. The centerpiece is composed of porcelain and ornately hand-painted with their signature birds, bugs and butterflies and features a large stylized coy fish handle with gilt accents. The centerpiece is clearly signed with the contemporary maker's mark for Herend and dated "D93" for April of 1993.
