Very rare and exquisite Art Nouveau Figurine: Elegant young lady with dark, pinned-up hair in a floor-length white dress with train and multi-layered, elegantly designed bodice, standing upright and looking attentively to the side, buttoning a glove, discreetly adorned with a delicate necklace and gold and rose bangle at the neckline, black bag with elaborate gold clasp on her left forearm. Based on the spread hem of the dress. Very lifelike and loving depiction of the character and details. Modeller: RUDOLF HENTSCHEL (Coelln 1869 - Meissen 1951) Painter and graphic artist, son of Julius, brother of Konrad, studied at the Academy in Munich and at the Académie Julian in Paris, 1895-1933 painter and teacher at the Meissen manufactory, he also created several figurative models, later worked partly as a freelancer. Model A 205 was created 1909.
