This gleaming and sophisticated Neoclassical Sterling Silver Pierced Serving Spoon W/Naturalist Relief Handle originates from the United States, Circa 1950. Features a lovely form of delicately balanced curves and excellent proportions, with serifed pierced cutouts in the surface of the spoon, leading to a fluted neck expanding to a beautifully made handle, adorned with naturalist detailing in stunning relief. Marked "Sterling Silver" on the handle. A beautiful and highly functional piece, this lovely Serving Spoon is an excellent example of the design motifs and sensibilities of American Silver pieces of the late 19th Century. Styling beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Neoclassical to Art Nouveau and Art Deco Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
