A fine and large pair of English George III style plated hot water-tea Samovars, each urn-form finely chased with a floral design reservoir with side ring-shaped handles, surmounted by a domed cover and raised on square base and ball feet with pull-out burners. Stamped: "Elkington Plate" with hallmarks, London, circa 1915. Height: 23 inches (58.4 cm) Width: 12 1/4 inches (31.1cm) Depth: 12 1/2 inches (31.8 cm).

These exceptional antique George II sterling silver tea caddies have a circular baluster shaped form. The surface of each antique tea caddy is embellished with very sharp, finely chased floral and foliate decoration, incorporating a scroll bordered vacant cartouche to either side.
