Poul Henningsen PH5 Mini Pendant in Hues of Pink for Louis Poulsen
By Poul Henningsen, Louis Poulsen
Located in Tilburg, NL
Poul Henningsen PH5 Mini pendant for Louis Poulsen. Designed 1958, Mini in 2017. New, current production. Poul Henningsen developed the PH 5 in 1958 in response to constant changes made to the shape and size of incandescent bulbs by bulb manufacturers, naming it after the size of the pendant’s main shade, which is 50 cm in diameter. When the lamp was introduced, he wrote, typically daringly, about how he had lost faith that the manufacturers of incandescent light bulbs would ever learn to consider common sense or have the consumer’s best interest at heart: “I have accepted fate, and with Louis Poulsen´s permission I have designed a PH fixture, which can be used with any kind of light source, Christmas lights and 100 W metal filament bulbs. Although a fluorescent tube would be too much to ask in the existing form!” At the time, now one knew that the PH 5 would become synonymous with the PH light...

Hanging copper Poul Henningsen PH4/4 1930's original Louis Poulsen Denmark Rare
By Louis Poulsen, Poul Henningsen
Located in Forest, BE
Spectacular copper and brass nickeled suspension lamp made in the 1930s at the famous Louis Poulsen factory. The lamp come in few parts which includes 3 copper shades. Easy to fix install. The lamp remain in excellent condition and is ready to be used as she got a new cable in cotton. You can see lots of patina and traces of time. It becomes really hard to find a good PH lamps these days.
