The aluminum lampshade, matt black on the outside and white on the inside, has a hemispherical shape, which includes the arm or curved chrome-plated steel shaft, run by a spun cable that is intertwined in the structure itself, finished off with a base. circular. Its clean and refined lines bring a retro air to the piece.
Seeking to be able to closely control the entire production process of its parts, the company acquired Abbotts Manufacturing, a Birmingham-based metalworks, in 2011. Based in the heart of the country's metalworking industry, the hand of highly skilled work uses centuries-old techniques to weld, form shades, bases and components from sheets of brass, copper and aluminum.
