About the Item

Early 19th century fine copper work picturing Jesus Christ talking to children, illustrating famous "let the little children come to me" biblical recommandation. Restauration production circa 1820 - 1830. Finely executed work using quite a rare technique for biblical scenes theme. The copper plate is set into a gold leaf gilt wood frame (same production period). Our set in in very good condition. Frame : 37cm x 30cm Copper plate : 30cm x 23cm
