Seven-leaf painted canvas screen depicting a lakeside with a few sailboats on the water, a wooded path animated by characters, a horseman watching over a herd of cows drinking, an openwork balustrade delimiting the landscape on the front. Mounted on a cream-painted wooden frame. The back is painted with a series of fourteen oval lakescapes surrounded by stenciled orange arabesques. French work, circa 1830. Size of sheet: 170 x 55 cm
