Modern style chaise lounge and footstool from the wanderlust collection in black smoke steel and black leather.
Serene pieces where exclusivity and precision are shown in small details such as the hand-turned metal nuts and bolts that fix the leather surfaces, that go unnoticed at first sight.
The robustness of the chaise lounge's metallic structures is combined with the delicacy of the rounded edges. The matte metal finishes evoke the passage of time and are complemented by vegetable tanned cowhide leathers that age gracefully with its use.
With the aim of creating customized furniture, clients can select from the multiple metal finishes, and the finest leather qualities and colors to create pieces that complement their home decor. Leather colors available, black, dark brown, natural tobacco and Navy blue. Steel polished finishing available, aged brass, black smoke and old silver.
Our collections are made to full fill home spaces where to gather and enjoy great conversation with families and friends. Occasional furniture for exquisite homes, from cottages to exclusive resorts. Influences from Mexico, Japan and Stickley are rendered in solid wood using traditional tongue and groove joinery. This sculptural 3-legged contemporary armchair is comfortable because the high arms ergonomically support the body above a 14-high seat. First made by the designer in Laredo, Texas studio in 1994, they are now made to order in Guadalajara, Mexico as signed editions.
These chairs are made from natural Parota wood and finished with several coats of matte lacquer and protected with final waxing. The finish will withstand covered outdoor conditions, avoiding direct sunlight and water.
Parota trees or Huanaxactle, grow from central Mexico down through tropical Central America and are sustainably harvested by permit and the lumber is then kiln dried to 10%.

They are realized according to the historical model named "Klismos" which is a type of ancient Greek chair, very often depicted on ancient furniture or on painted pottery and in bas-reliefs from the mid-5th century BCE onwards. The simple and elegant lines of the saber legs have been proposed and reconsidered several times during the home decoration history, making it a chair without age and never out of fashion.
The long and elegant curve for the backrest is quite difficult to be created and it is obtained from a single piece of wood. They are extremely comfortable and wraparound, the seat is large and deep allowing them to be suitable in a meeting room, as well in the dining room or used as desk chairs.
