About the Item

Set of 3 chairs No. 3105 by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, Denmark, 1955. This is the first edition of this chair nicknamed "Mosquito", black lacquered version, matte chrome legs, acquired by their former owner in 1961 (invoice of origin). The Munkegaard chair was originally designed for the Gentofte school, north of Copenhagen. The spacer cabochon is made of metal, signature and label present, the pads and end caps have been replaced by original parts. Very nice patina, very good structural condition.
