As with previous beanbag models, DS-9090 is filled with De Sede fill, a combination of foam and beads, and the insert in DS-SELECT is integrated with a handstitched seam. The needs and demands of the person seated are virtually limitless. Designer Stefan Heiliger’s basic IDEA was to create a functional armchair that can be operated differently. Previous functional armchairs had a footrest that could be pulled up or an armrest that could be folded up individually. Pli can do without all this. This smart swivel armchair revolutionarily fulfills the arm- or footrest functions with the correct pivot point. The design of the dynamic seating object looks stately. This is how Pli lends a tasteful touch of extravagance to the commercial and residential settings alike.

Like the De Sede model DS-343, the armchair Rex is based on a patented seat study developed over the last two decades by seat expert and physical therapist Bart Van der Heyden. Rex is an armchair that moves with the movements of the person seated. Changes in posture are not just permitted but even encouraged. The armchair presents itself in a novel architecture. The seat shell does not stop at the backrest as usual but extends to pelvis height instead. This is not only a stylish design element but the elementary basis for this sitting revolution. With the extended seat shell, the person seated assumes a different posture when leaning back: if you lean backwards, only the upper part of the backrest moves backwards. Following the movements of the body, this provides gentle support to the spine and the chest opens automatically. The person seated immediately feels a more open posture, which is accompanied by a freedom of sitting.

The famous armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish interior designer and furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice.
The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style.
The chair is very ergonomic and comfortable, as the furniture designs of that time were largely focused on the user. Due to its small size, the furniture fits perfectly into the interiors of contemporary apartments, perfectly meeting the needs of customers.
The chair is in perfect condition after a professional renovation. We can prepare this set also in another wood and fabric color. Please check color samples on the last pictures.

This is special collection of velvet in a stunning color range of more than 100 different shades of both pure classic and non-obvious pastel broken colors. While this specific seating is known to all for its comfort and familiar form, the history of how your favorite antique or vintage lounge chair came to be is slightly more ambiguous.
Although there are rare armchairs dating back as far as the 17th century, some believe that the origins of the first official “lounge chair” are tied to Hungarian modernist designer-architect Marcel Breuer. Sure, Breuer wasn’t exactly reinventing the wheel when he introduced the Wassily lounge chair in 1925, but his seat was indeed revolutionary for its integration of bent tubular steel.
Officially, a lounge chair is simply defined as a “comfortable armchair,” which allows for the shape and material of the furnishings to be extremely diverse. Whether or not chaise longues make the cut for this category is a matter of frequent debate.
The Eames lounge chair, on the other hand, has come to define somewhat of a universal perception of what a lounge chair can be. Introduced in 1956, the Eames lounger (and its partner in cozy, the ottoman) quickly became staples in television shows, prestigious office buildings and sumptuous living rooms. Venerable American mid-century modern designers Charles and Ray Eames intended for it to be the peak of luxury, which they knew meant taking furniture to the next level of style and comfort. Their chair inspired many modern interpretations of the lounge — as well as numerous copies.
