This is a Barcelona Lounge Chair, model 250LS, initially designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1929. This example was produced by Knoll in the United States in 1987. It features a solid, hand-polished stainless-steel frame (vs. the more commonly seen chrome-plated editions) and has cushions upholstered in black leather.
