Pair Vintage BKF Hardoy for Knoll Cream Leather Butterfly Stool

About the Item

Classic butterfly ottoman in stunning cream leather, designed by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy and produced by Knoll. An essential companion to the butterfly chair, the design echoes its stylish low-slung profile. Sling is made from high-quality saddle leather, with hand-stitched details. Our vintage example has nicely broken-in leather with age-appropriate wear that adds to its rugged charm. Black wire frame is strong with all welds intact. Minor bend to one ottoman, Measures: 18” long x 18” wide x 18” high, seat height.

This pair of iconic wrought iron frame BKF-Butterfly lounge chairs by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy for Knoll is simple yet elegant design. The Butterfly chair model consists of an open, criss-crossing, tubular wrought iron frame with a leather sling seat that slips over the frame. The newly produced, thick tan leather covers on these chairs feature hand-sewn, saddle stitching with one horizontal seam that places the sitter in a comfortable upright position.
