This eclectic, one-off azure-blue decorative accent table or stool is made by French multidisciplinary artist-designer Louis Bressolles. The entirely unique sculptural object is constructed of interlocking pieces of reclaimed tree branches and layered Plexiglass sheets that have been thermoformed to create a useable structure — and which can be disassembled and reassembled like a puzzle. The puzzle's trick is that it must be constructed in a specific order. Once assembled, the lightweight materials of the piece become quite sturdy, and the finished form is reminiscent of a wild and imaginatively intertwined patchwork of branches and brambles, drenched in a cheerful, bright shade of blue that recalls the Mediterranean Sea on a sunny day. A versatile and functional design object that is guaranteed to stand-out in even the most discerning contemporary interiors.

Minimalist and sleek cast aluminum frame, with satin finish open arm sides connected by a pair of polished full-length cross pieces. Three independent sling-style seats reupholstered at some point in cornflower blue faux leather.
Inspired by the way sails are secured to a boat’s mast, original upholstery would’ve wrapped around and slotted into the top and bottom cross pieces. Looks great as presented, but could be easily redone by the buyer in that manner in a material of their choosing.
Retains illegible remnants of Knoll International label.
