About the Item

A very fine vintage credenza in the form of a side-by-side chest of drawers designed by Knoll and executed in 1970, it is designed using very pleasing selections of teak veneers that flow across the drawers horizontally in long beautiful rays. The sides are separated with an ebony stained divider, further enhancing the effect of separation between the right and left sides. Each drawer is lined with solid oak and built to last the test of time, these with a very smooth overall drawer action; several retain their original dividers. The chest is situated over a chromed steel base, the chroming typical of Knoll quality with an overall brilliant surface that glows under a high polish. The adjustable feet are cut from solid chromed steel and are a very nice finish. Measurements: 72 7/8" W x 28 3/4" H x 19 3/8" D Condition Report: Tiny repair to veneer at back upper corner of the left side; small piece of veneer replaced on the top edge of a drawer; very minor scuffs and abrasions, most of which have been polished out and re-oiled in-house; original chrome hand-polished and lightly restored with only minor oxidization/pitting; overall very fine restored condition.
