About the Item

This is a beautiful piece by the John Widdicomb of Michigan. The secretary is made of walnut and designed in the Georgian "Tombstone" style with the mirrored glass. The mirrors are aged and have beveled edges and are not clear. This is a look you can either live with or don't want but adds character to the piece. This is a natural occurance and is more apparent on one side than the other. The piece is in otherwise good condition with minor signs of age and use. Measures 81 tall x 41 wide x 20 deep. Dates to the 1940-50s era.
