Travertine began cropping up on our radar not long ago when designers were jumping on the mixed-marble trend. The beige limestone now seems ubiquitous, appearing in the jagged slabs of Brazilian architect Otto Felix’s conceptual Sibipirunas House for 2020's CASACOR design event and in the archways of Kelly Wearstler’s buzzy Santa Monica Proper hotel.
