By Frits Henningsen
Located in Atlanta, GA
Danish Modern Mahogany dining table, designed by Frits Henningsen, Denmark, circa 1930s. It expands from a compact 43" circle to an impressive 108.5" oval with all three of it's leaves installed. We also have the matching dining chairs from the same estate currently listed on 1stdibs. Please see last photos. This listing and pricing is for the dining table only.

Iconic Danish Midcentury Rosewood Dining Table
By H. Sigh & Søns Møbelfabrik AS, Helge Vestergaard-Jensen
Located in London, GB
This table is 190cm long when extended and 140cm long when butterfly extension leaf is folded under the table top. All surfaces have been lightly sanded to even out any variation in colour between the main halves and the extension leaf. All surfaces have then been re-lacquered to make water resistant.
This table has been attributed by some sellers on 1stdibs and some experts to Helge Vestergaard Jensen. I have in my possession both the table documented as designed by Helge Vestergaard Jensen (not for sale in this listing) and, obviously, this table for sale here in this listing. The design and construction are significantly different.
I have seen this design with a label from H Sigh and Sonner...

Gubi Atmosfera Natural teak Dining Table Designed by GUBI
By Gubi
Located in New York, NY
The tables’ simple aesthetics maintain an understated poise with a nod to classic references without being too formal. The tabletops are made from rhythmic, repeating slats of solid, premium teak, enclosed by a frame made from the same slats, giving a minimalist feel. The table legs are formed from two vertical slats, using a miter joint that creates an inverted ‘L-shape’ on each corner. Referencing architectural and maritime design, the unusual leg design provides both structural support and visual interest, giving the piece a certain lightness. Each leg protrudes slightly above the tabletop surface, culminating in a rounded detail in contrast to the geometric lines of the structure, that gives a calm composure to the design.

Veneer Trestle Table
By Matias Moellenbach
Located in København K, 84
"I’ve wanted to address the table for a while.
However we did have a few specific key objectives that the table needed to address: one would be versatility, because we live in such different circumstances in terms of size and shapes. The other being easy shipping ability. Tables are naturally going to be large, but flat packing would ease the shipping process significantly.
Also, I did not want the answer to these objectives feeling “industrial” and cold.
The outcome is a highly sculptural trestle concept. Easy to move, yet sturdy and doesn’t have the appearance of being a temporary product.
The trestles has been developed through an experimentation with veneer and its possibility to have double curvature without breaking.
Veneer is a material and process that Matias Moellenbach has been working with in the past year (e.g. Ready Chair...
