At 312 Oak Table by Hans J. Wegner

About the Item

Created by Hans Wegner, recognized as one of the leading designers of the Danish mid-century modern movement, this table is the epitome of functional modernity. The "AT-312" model demonstrates Wegner's rigor and artistry in proportions, construction, function and style. The ingeniously functional and well-thought-out structure gives it charm while remaining simple and refined. The extensions slide under the large oak top. The extension mechanism also serves as a decorative element. The lower oak structure receives attention too, with elegant slim legs, slightly tapered and flared, which balance the large top. This table is a reference in Scandinavian table design.
