About the Item

A unique collectors piece. A wooden panel from the middle-ages circa 1550.The panel is from walnut and framed with a Renaissance ornament. A shield with broken tymphane. This amazing piece has the most radiant yellow glow about it which certainly makes it suitable to style a home. Hundreds of years ago it probably hung in the private residence of a well-to-do family where it was prayed to rather than in a church. It belongs to the Spanish School and can be dated thus round 1550. It depicts Mater Dolorosa. And the measurements are 33 cm.x30cm.
