A fine and impressive vintage onyx, 0.08 carat diamond and 14k yellow gold pendant/brooch; part of our vintage brooches collection.
This fine and impressive vintage onyx brooch/pendant has been crafted in 14k yellow gold.
This iconic Art Deco brooch is embellished with an impressive collet set onyx panel, bearing a tiered geometric carved design.
The lower portion of the setting is ornamented with two offset stepped panels, ornamented to the centre with seven pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
This brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp fastening.
This versatile vintage onyx brooch may also be worn as a pendant, suspends from a contemporary 9k yellow gold 18'' curb chain via the incorporated loop to the reverse, securing to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring.
This impressive vintage brooch/pendant is hallmarked to the reverse with the 14k gold mark 585 and the maker's mark (EE).

This gorgeous Art Deco brooch is circa 1930 and is set with approximately 20 carats of carved rubies in gold and Platinum. The approximately 1.25 carats of diamonds (G-H color, VS-SI clarity) are set in platinum. This brooch is large at over 2" long and 1" wide. It would also look stunning as a pendant hanging from a gold chain (we do this with a lot of our brooches and they look fabulous). This brooch is lovely and rare, as most carved gemstones from the Deco period have not survived.
