This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold.
The vintage brooch setting has been modelled in the form of a sixteen-pointed star / double octagram, in the antique Victorian style.
The brooch is ornamented with a feature pearl to the center of the design, encompassed with seven claw set round faceted cut sapphires, totalling 0.79Ct.
The eighteen alternating points of the star are embellished with an array of fifty-six seed pearls, graduating in size dependant on location.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
The brooch is hallmarked with the maker's mark (H&T), 9k gold fineness mark (9, 375), the date letter for 1965 (K) and the London Assay Office mark (leopard's head).
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

A dramatic jewel from the second half of the 19th century, modelled as a floral and foliate spray composed by flowerheads and naturalistic leaves, grain-set and step-down-collet-set throughout with Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, all stones in open-back silver-on-gold settings. This jewel is secured to reverse with a later-added hinged post and roller clasp fitting in yellow gold.

Antique Diamond, Pearl and Gem-set Butterfly Brooch

Created in the 1880s, this diamond, pearl, and gem-set butterfly brooch is set in silver-topped 18K gold. The old mine-cut diamond and pearl body, with emerald eyes and ruby-tipped antennae, has curving rose-cut diamond wings edged with rubies and highlighted by round-cut sapphires, in a patinated silver-topped 18K gold mount. Beautifully modeled, with intense sparkle and colors, this small jewel conveys the preciousness and rarity of the graceful favorite of the insect world.
