This antique amuletic bronze framed pendant cages a dozen 7mm-diameter single-cut rock crystals that each feature a table-cut decagon crown, deep pavilion, 21 facets and uncut girdle, while the culets range from off-center to blunted. They are tightly set within four linked rings to overlap at the same angle in a sparkling single row. Seeming to retain a little of its original yellow-gold gilding on just the interior, the frame that surrounds each of the four sections of three crystals enables them to reflect pale-yellow-and-lime light when the pendant is viewed from certain angles.

This charming little Georgian sterling silver scent bottle features is marked with English hallmarks.
The make show clearly George in profile, the anchor for Birmingham as well as the maker's initials IT .
The year letter is too rubbed to be legible. The screw on lid is decorated with the initial M, the sides of the bottle are engraved with a flower. The little bottle is in fine condition and has no dents.
The scent bottle can be worn on a chain like the one worn by my life size mannequin.

Although the stopper is now missing, it is not an unusual predicament to not find them in place on these scent bottles. When you realize how very tiny they are, that should easily explain how they might have been lost or damaged over the past hundreds of years.

This early-16th-Century Renaissance period silver-repousse round medallion pendant features a romantic encounter in a rural landscape between a man and smiling woman wearing European-nobility fashion, including a men's feathered hat, tights and sword. A silversmith was commissioned by this unknown man to make the pendant as a hat badge to promote his affectionate nature, which is conveyed by the welcomed gestures between the adult couple, who stand cheek-to-cheek and hand-in-hand. It is worth noting that romantic love via marriage was a rarity before the 18th Century. Fantastic Oversized antique French brooch.
A very nice early French piece, created during the Georgian period, around the 1810's. Carefully crafted in solid .830/1000 sterling silver and suited at the reverse, with a hinged horizontal pin with a hook lock.
Is embellished, with a mix of larger quartz gems cuts and small simulated gemstones in paste.
Excellent workmanship with black dots and prong set on top of the silver with open backs.
Paste, is a gem like material made from a secret formula of leaded glass invented by George Ravenscroft, a 17th century London glassmaker and later perfected by George Strass, an 18th century French jeweler, designed to resemble precious gemstones.
This piece is pretty heavy and large with a total weight of 87.4 grams and a measures of 90 mm by 83 mm (3.52 by 3.28 inches).
Stamped, with multiples French hallmarks; three times with the maker's maitre cartouche and three times with the boar head, for the assay and guaranty of the .830 silver.
Note: This piece have remains of the original gilding in some parts of the reverse.

In ancient times, pendant necklaces worn by royalty and nobles conferred wealth and prestige. Today, wearing jewelry is about personal expression: Luxury diamond necklaces exude confidence and can symbolize the celebratory nature of a deep romantic relationship, while paper-clip chain-link necklaces designed by the likes of goldsmith Faye Kim are firmly planted in the past as well as the present. For some, necklaces are thought of as being a solely feminine piece, but this widely loved accessory has been gender-neutral for eons.
