About the Item

Jaeger LeCoultre Art Deco clock measuring 8 5/8th by 7 1/8th inches, this is likely a one and only example of an Art Deco clock in polished stainless steel, with faceted pyramidal triangular onyx alternating with vivid red (not orange), triangular hard stone. The circular center of the clock consists of polished and faceted onyx. The clock itself sits on a smooth onyx plinth. The movement has been serviced and works well. This fine piece will undergo a final quality control check to confirm it is in fine running condition. We also guarantee our clocks for a year parts and labor. The dial is clear glass. The clock is signed in the lower right by Jaeger LeCoultre. The exceptional geometric nature of this piece is evident in the photographs attached. The condition is very good with very slight chipping on the onyx and visible only under magnification. All items sold are accompanied by a detailed appraisal by our gemologist, as well as all original Laboratory Certificates, if specified in listing. As always, we guarantee all of pieces, forever. Each piece of jewelry arrives in a finely gift-wrapped presentation box.

Vintage Jaeger Mechanical Desk/Travel Alarm Clock – Art Deco Brass & Bakelite
By Jaeger-LeCoultre
Located in London, GB
Vintage Jaeger Mechanical Desk/Travel Alarm Clock – Art Deco Brass & Bakelite – Original Box – French Made (1930s–50s) A beautiful and rare find, this Jaeger mechanical alarm clock offers vintage style, functionality, and collectible value—all in one compact piece. Likely produced between the 1930s and 1950s, this charming French-made Art Deco desk or travel clock is presented in very good vintage condition and comes with its original Jaeger presentation box. This clock reflects the high standard of craftsmanship associated with Jaeger, a predecessor and partner to Jaeger-LeCoultre, long before the official merger. Its brass-tone metal case, paired with a black Bakelite surround and base, frames a striking gold-tone dial with raised Arabic numerals and luminous cathedral-style hands. Powered by a manual wind mechanical movement, the clock features a fully functioning independent alarm with separate winding and clear French-labeled controls on the backplate—“Aig. Mouv.” / “Rem. Mouv.” for time, and “Aig. Rév.” / “Rem. Rév.” for alarm settings.
