Dick Brewer is a world famous surfboard designer and shaper. Brewer made a name for himself in the early 1960s surfing big waves in Hawaii at breaks such as Waimea Bay and Sunset beach. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s the demand for Brewer's innovative surfboard designs began to grow among professional and free surfers alike. Becoming best known for his big wave "guns" built to ride the heaviest waves Hawaii has to offer.
