Nude, Side View
Located in Lenox, MA
Ormond Gigli Nude, Side View Gelatin Silver Print 14" x 11" Unique: $10000 Provenance: Printed by the artist, from the artist's studio ORMOND GIGLI Born New York City, 1925 Ormond Gigli became famous early on during the 1950s for his photographs of theatre, celebrities, dance, exotic persons & places. His work appeared prominently on covers & editorial pages of LIFE, TIME, PARIS MATCH, SATURDAY EVENING POST, COLLIERS, and other major international publications. Gigli's groundbreaking portraits include Sophia Loren (at age 21), Anita Ekberg, Marcel Duchamp, John F. Kennedy, Halston, Gina Lollobrigida, Diana Vreeland, Giancarlo Giannini, Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Sir Laurence Olivier, Alan Bates, Richard Burton, & many more. Most of these images have not been widely seen since they first appeared over four decades ago. Gigli worked more like a film director than a photojournalist. His ability to earn his subjects' trust in his vision -- often during complicated, uncomfortable, even dangerous setups -- was as important to the photos as his technical finesse with the camera. His disarming way with his subjects is evident in the revealing anecdotes of the people and times he so vividly recalls. He was welcomed backstage on Broadway as readily as he was in the private lives of celebrities. Some of Gigli's favorite photographs were self-assigned, international award-winners, such as "Girls in the Windows...

Located in Austin, TX
Signed limited edition print of Amy Winehouse taken at a laundromat in London by Jake Chessum. Jake recalls the session: “I travelled from NYC to London in February 2004 to do a press shoot with Amy Winehouse. It was a classic February day: cold, wet, foggy and dark by about 4pm. We met at her flat and went to a few of her local haunts: a cafe, a launderette, Primrose Hill. The record company were very hands off and didn’t pressure us to do any particular set ups. We just went with the flow. She was really entertaining: funny, smart and cooly indiscreet. I am a huge jazz fan and I remember we talked about music, London and New York.” Jake Chessum offers prints in multiple...

"Sexy Scot" Framed Silver Gelatin Print James Bond 007
Located in London, GB
"Sexy Scot" by Bob Haswell 28th October 1963: British actor Sean Connery lounges on a sofa with a cigarette. He is in London during filming of the thriller ‘Woman of Straw’ with Gina Lollobrigida. (Photo by Bob Haswell) Sir Sean Connery (born Thomas Connery; 25 August 1930 – 31 October 2020) was a Scottish actor. He was the first actor to portray fictional British secret agent James Bond on film, starring in seven Bond films between 1962 and 1983.[1][2][3] Originating the role in Dr. No, Connery played Bond in six of Eon Productions' entries and made his final appearance in Never Say Never Again. Connery began acting in smaller theatre and television productions until his breakout role as Bond. Although he did not enjoy the off-screen attention the role gave him, the success of the Bond films brought Connery offers from notable directors such as Alfred Hitchcock, Sidney Lumet and John Huston. Their films in which Connery appeared included Marnie (1964), The Hill (1965), Murder on the Orient Express...

Vivienne Westwood
Located in Austin, TX
Signed limited edition print of acclaimed British fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood by photographer, Andrew Cotterill. “I took this picture when i was assisting in the early 90’s. The photographer i was working with said take one of my other cameras and shoot what you see. It was a very kind gesture to mention this, so i did and had a great time. Vivian was wonderful and totally eccentric having created this tiny room she called her “Saloon”. Its was a little scary but probably got me on my way.” This print is available in different sizes: 12 x 16” - Edition 25 16 x 20” - Edition 20 20 x24” - Edition 15 30 x 40” - Edition 10 East London born Andrew Cotterill is a Photographer with a genuine passion and engendered affinity with his subject matter. His work for Q Magazine, Mojo, Spin, Sony Style, NME, Big Issue and Dazed & Confused has taken him from court photographer of the mid-90's drum 'n' bass explosion to the expert eye on Jamaica's dancehall renaissance. Andrew's, association with music runs true and deep - his passage into photography was a natural progression from his passion of the 80's club and warehouse-party scene. Andrew's entry into magazines came, suitably enough, with pictures of Public Enemey's Chuck D...
