About the Item

Silksreen, 1966 Handsigned by the artist in pencil and numbered 123/150 Publisher : Denise René, Paris Printer : Ateliers Arcay Catalog : [Benavides 60] 83.00 cm. x 75.00 cm. 32.68 in. x 29.53 in. (paper) 69.00 cm. x 65.00 cm. 27.17 in. x 25.59 in. (image) Dry stamp “Denise René Editeur” lower left. From the “Lapidaire” album of eight original serigraphs. In our artwork, dominated by ochre and topaz tones, Vasarely interprets the geometric structure of the circle. He introduces a certain disruption of form, which, together with the play of bright colors, creates a particular rhythm that only this Franco-Hungarian master of kinetic art can create.
