Association of Women Art Dealers Mixed Media
Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD)
The Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD), established in 2009, is an international network that facilitates business and collaborations between and for members at all stages of their career as business owners, with a vision to positively impact the enterprise of each member. Each of the three chapters — London, New York and Global — has a monthly event and welcomes membership applications from women and women-identifying art dealers, advisors and gallerists based worldwide.

HUGO G. URRUTIA + MK SEMOS
Urrutia is an interdisciplinary artist, interested in the cross-pollination between art and architecture. A graduate and active member of the Architectural Association in the United Kingdom, Urrutia’s work creates a distinct spatiality located at the interstice of art and architecture. His work explores and uses the technology for design and fabrication, with a sensitive and conscious reminder of the creativity of human endeavor.
Urrutia graduated from the Architectural Association in 2013, earning a Master of Architecture in the Design & Make programme. In 2000, he graduated from Texas Tech University, with a Bachelor of Architecture and Design and received the 2000 Outstanding Thesis Award. In 2004, he founded Decorazon Gallery in Dallas’ historic Bishop Arts District where he directed, curated and exhibited numerous art/architectural exhibitions for national and international artists.
His personal artwork has been exhibited in the United States, United Kingdom, Thailand, Colombia, and Hong Kong. His participation in art and architectural competitions and public projects include; the AIA Cincinnati, where he received the Design Award for the 2000 National Urban Poetry I competition and the 2005 ARQUINE - International Architecture Competition in Mexico City. His art installations – The Mexican Tsunami, and Making a Killing – have both been featured at the Art Santa Fe 2010 Contemporary Art Fair, curated by Charlotte Jackson...

Shawn Theodore (b. 1970) was born in Germany to American parents from Philadelphia, and currently lives and works in Philadelphia. Theodore was awarded the prestigious PDN’s 30 New & Emerging Photographers to Watch (2019), the Getty Images / ARRAY ‘Where We Stand’ grant, and a grant from the Knight Foundation for ‘A Dream Deferred’. Theodore was a two-time nominee for the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage Fellowship and a nominee for the Magnum Foundation Fund. He is an Associate Adjunct Professor at the University of the Arts, a trustee of The Print Center, a trustee of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, and a former trustee of the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center.
Theodore was announced as a two-time nominee of The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage Fellowship and a nominee of the Magnum Foundation Fund in 2018. In the following years 2019 and 2020, he was awarded the PDN's 30 New & Emerging Photographers to Watch and AI-AP American Photography 35. He has had several solo exhibitions and is included in several group exhibitions. Joshua Goode: Born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1981, Joshua Goode is researching and developing mythic historical misinterpretations and manipulations in an effort to expose the malleability of our past, present and future. His alternate history and mythology preserve memories of childhood ranch life in Texas by reimagining objects and imagery from his youth as iconic ancient artifacts. Having studied history and worked as an archaeologist on many actual excavations, he conducts staged excavations around the world, working with the community as a performance.
