Pair of Early 18th Century Blue and White Delft Jars

About
A pair of early 18th century delft faience lidded ginger jars with chinoiserie decoration of birds and flowers inspired by the blue on white decor of Ming porcelain. One bears the mark of Lambertus van Eenhoorn, who directed the ceramics factory De Metaale Pot from 1691 until his death in 1721. Traditional octagonal ribbed form with lids surmounted by imperial lions. In excellent condition for the age with very minor wear to glaze of the lions and along the base. Weight: 3lbs. each.
