About the Item

Rare pair of elegant oval porcelain vessels on offset, fluted feet, with bulging, raised walls, fluted, indented straight opening rim with ten crenellated-like cut-out small segments for glass storage, below the rim at the front and back horizontally running grooved bands, which form protruding handles in pairs on the sides and converge at the bottom of the vessel, above the foot, where they are attached. Two horizontal bands running parallel on the outer wall of the vessel in cobalt blue with a gold-painted maple leaf frieze, as well as gold highlights on the handles and gold rims.
