This extremely fine George III neoclassical antique sterling silver bread basket was made in Sheffield in 1777 by Richard Morton & Company. This beautiful basket stands on a flared beaded foot pierced with arched vertical pails. The main body is decorated with beaded bands and pierced with wave motifs, flower heads in ovals and plain vertical pails. The main body is also engraved with laurel leaf garlands. The arched, beaded, swing handle is pierced with oblong motifs, stylised quatrefoils and roundels. The anterior surface of the handle is embellished with an undulating engraved border.

This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver beer jug has a plain baluster form onto a circular spreading foot.
The body of this impressive antique silver jug is embellished with an impressive engraved scrolling leaf bodered coat of arms depicting on a fess three five-pinted stars between three griffens' heads erased.
This impressive example of Georgian silverware is fitted with a cast sterling silver S scroll handle ornamented with an impressive scrolling leaf thumbpiece and bifurcating lower scrolling terminal.
The cast beak style spout of the jug is embellished with a vase-shaped moulding to the nadir.
The circular spreading foot is embellished with bands of tooled decoration.
Note: The London Assay Office have missing records in the Smallworkers' Register (1739-1758) and Largeworkers' Register (1758-1773), and it can be determined that this maker's mark was registered within this timeframe. However John King became free from his apprenticeship August 1757, and it can be determined there is a high probability that this maker's mark associates to him.

These exceptional antique Georgian straight* sterling silver forks have been crafted in the Hanoverian pattern with three tines.
The posterior surface of each antique silver fork handle terminal incorporates the bright cut engraved crest of out of a coronet a griffin's head, all above the monogram initial 'W'.
The anterior surface of each 18th century fork is plain with a pip to the handle terminal.
Such straight examples of antique silver forks with clearly struck hallmarks are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
* 'Straight' means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.
Condition
These antique sterling silver forks are an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.
