Le Corbusier - LCII Sheet-Metal Wall Lamp - Ahmedabad Grand Model

About the Item

Sheet-metal rare wall lamp, called LCII “Ahmedabad Grand Model” by Le Corbusier - Blue-grey lacquer. The LCII lamp by Le Corbusier is sourced from the city of Chandigarh (UNESCO world heritage), India and is manufactured by Guilux, circa 1954. The lamp shows signs of rust and the original paint is not fully intact anymore - plenty of patina. It is still in working condition and we include LED lamps for the bajonet fitting so it is still confirm modern regulation on electricity. This is quite a rare and spectacular lamp. Two examples available. Priced individually. Provenance: High Court in Chandigarh, sector 1.
