About the Item

Stylish large-sized ‘Clinio’ wall lamps designed by Vico Magistretti and manufactured by Artemide in Italy in 1967. These lamps are part of a big family of lighting that began with the Omega hanging lamp in 1964. These wall lamps have a frame made of nickel-plated metal, and they feature white opaline glass shades and a glass ball diffuser shade. The opaline glass shades make sure these lamps give very nice and atmospheric light when lit. They are in very good original condition. The Clinio wall lamp was introduced in 1967 and uses the same type of diffuser that was first used in the Omega pendant lamp back in 1964, showing just how popular and successful that design was. The wall-mounted lamp has an arm attached to a wall plate, both made from matte nickel-plated brass. It’s known for its special diffuser made of frosted glass, which creates a unique and pleasing light effect. This glass is created by removing two horizontal slices from a smoked glass sphere that surrounds an inner opaline globe. In very good condition. Priced and sold per set of 2. These lamps are checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA.
