About the Item

Lovely patinated brass table lamp by Poul Henningsen with lacquered copper top shade and yellow painted acid-stained glass lower shades. This example dates to the early 1940s. The top shade has been recently and professionally re-lacquered in Denmark. Original hardware and cord with US plug and e14 socket adapter added. Uses one candelabra base us bulb-max wattage 60. LED compatible. Wonderful age-appropriate wear on this iconic lamp. Rare to see original yellow painted lower shades provide a warm diffused light. Imported from Denmark. Made by Louis Poulsen.
