Raymor No. 7 Chrome and Lucite Counterweight Piano Lamp, 1960s

About the Item

Designed in the late 1960s, the No. 7 piano lamp by Raymor exemplifies mid-century innovation in both form and function. It features a polished chrome hemispheric shade suspended on a curved Lucite arm, counterbalanced by a weighted chrome disc. The transparent acrylic base creates the illusion of a floating structure, emphasizing lightness and balance. The chrome dome swivels at its mounting point, allowing the light direction to be adjusted with ease. Originally created to illuminate pianos, the lamp also serves beautifully on desks, consoles, or sideboards. Its clean geometry and Space Age material palette reflect Raymor’s distinct modernist aesthetic. Complete with original Raymor foil label. Wired for U.S. use (120V) with standard E26 socket.
