This is a fantastic pair of Ben-Amun clip on earrings with a large (about 7/8 inch diameter) vibrant faux mabe pearl surrounded by a rich, bright gold patterned frame with five lustrous bulbous pearl drops which graduate in size from each side to the center bottom. The earrings have incredible life from the bright gold and the shimmering pearls and large size measuring about 2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide.
They are clearly marked on the back and come on their original Saks Fifth Avenue card. There are some slight imperfections and marks on the pearls that I have tried to photograph but none of them are noticeable from a distance.

What an exotic bright gold pendant of a fancy butterfly with exaggerated antenna 0n the top and legs on the bottom. There are raised flowers on the wings, a beetle head and eyes and a double strand rolo chain dangling below, giving it a mythical effect. The pendant is knotted onto a long (32 inch) black leather cord which can be shortened easily by retying the knot on the top, the cord contrasts wonderfully with the high carat look of the gold finish on the butterfly. The pendant and cord are in excellent condition and look like they have never been worn.

What a wonderful modernist, geometric bangle bracelet this is, because it has a dull gray finish on the outside and a shinier finish on the low spots of the inside, I think it's possible that the original finish has almost completely worn off, but I love the industrial gray with the midcentury look of this piece and the 3/4 inch diameter red, blue and black glass cabochons are all vibrant in color and contrast nicely with the dull finish. It is a large piece of jewelry having a 2.5 inch inside diameter, 3.25 inch outside diameter and the geometric shapes project about one inch above and below the center band making the bracelet have a two inch total width. It is stamped in many places with the Ben-Amun mark.

Presented is a photoplay first edition of London After Midnight by Marie Coolidge Rask. This printing was published by Grosset & Dunlap, in New York, in 1928. The book has been beautifully rebound in striking ¼ green leather and cloth boards, with raised bands and gilt stamps and tiles to the spine, and a matching green archival slipcase. The book is illustrated with eight stills from the original silent film.
One of the most collectible Grosset & Dunlap photoplay editions, this book was a novelization of the 1927 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer mystery horror film of the same title, co-produced and directed by Tod Browning. The movie starred Lon Chaney in a dual role of Scotland Yard Inspector and vampire; this was his only movie role as a vampire. Due to the success of the film, Marie Coolidge Rask penned the novelization of the movie. Rask worked from Tod Browning’s screenplay as well as the original source material, Browning’s short story "The Hypnotist.” The book was published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1928 and included eight stills from the silent film.
The last known copy of the film was destroyed in the 1965 MGM vault fire, along with hundreds of other rare early films, making it one of the most sought-after “lost” silent films. Copies of the film have never surfaced. This 1928 book is therefore important and collectible, as it is one of the few remaining records of the film’s content and storyline.

Marvelous vintage Mid-Century Modern headboard Lane Furniture Tower Suite Collection comprised of walnut and rosewood. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been restored or refinished. Sometimes the best thing to do first thing in the morning is go right back to bed! And honestly, with a bed this beautiful, you may never want to get up!!! This is an INCREDIBLE full or queen sized “Tower Suite Collection” headboard by Lane Furniture!! It bears a lovely contrast of a walnut frame and fabulous decorative rosewood inlays across the front and both sides. This is a classic beauty with a Mid-Century Modern style that you are sure to love for years to come. It is going to be gorgeous in your bedroom! All you need is a full or queen-sized mattress and a Hollywood frame OR if you don’t mind the opinion of my mom, who is an EXCEPTIONAL retired interior designer… She would have a hanging mechanism or wall cleat made so that you can attach it to the wall and lift it a little higher, use a platform rather than a Hollywood frame, and toss out the box springs as mattresses today are much taller than they used to be. Annnnnd, Voila! Maximum exposure of the headboard! If that sounds like something you would be interested in, we would be happy to provide a wall cleat upon purchase of the headboard. This is a gorgeous example of high-quality craftsmanship constructed with exquisite woods and attention to detail quintessential of Lane Furniture. You simply can’t go wrong!
Lane was founded in 1912 by Edward Hudson Lane at the age of 21, upon his father’s suggestion after he, John Edward Lane, bought a small packing-box plant in Altavista, Virginia. Edward procured a loan and converted the factory to make cedar chests and named it The Standard Red Cedar Chest Co. Sales were good and the company expanded. But during WWI, with the banning of rail freight deemed non-essential, they began making pine ammunition boxes. This is notable as it led to an assembly line which was revolutionary and became the first moving conveyor assembly system in the furniture industry.
